Angus Finnegan
Managing Partner
Angus has a wealth of experience working in the technology and communications sectors. Having started his career as in-house counsel at BT, he became a partner in private practice in 2000 and has held numerous leadership roles in London and Silicon Valley for Osborne Clarke, Reed Smith and Taylor Wessing.
Angus advises on a broad range of commercial transactions and is frequently engaged on high value/complex projects. He also has extensive experience of advising on telecoms regulatory issues, drawing on his deep understanding of the commercial arrangements in the sector.
Angus has particular expertise in mobile communications and has worked with leading brands including Vodafone, Sky, EE, Talk Talk, Zain and OTE.
His work on technology projects spans numerous industries, with particular focus on fintech.
Angus is independently ranked as a leading lawyer and has featured in the Lawyer’s Top 100 UK lawyers.

Jonathan Halsey
Partner
Jonathan qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and has a wide range of experience in commercial law, particularly in technology, privacy and communications.
Having trained at Osborne Clarke he worked for a number of years in their London technology team before moving in-house as Commercial Legal Counsel for Red Bull in Salzburg.
Recent experience includes secondments to the Dentsu Media & Global Clients legal team, as well as a division of the HSBC Banking Group. He currently acts as General Counsel for a leading global provider in advertising and media technology, frequently advising on SaaS arrangements and privacy matters.
Jonathan has also held leadership roles in the charity sector and is fluent in French and German.

James Mullock
Director of Privacy
James is a privacy and data law specialist with 30 years' experience. Between 2015 and 2023 he was co-head of Bird & Bird's London data protection team. Prior to that he was a partner at Osborne Clarke where he set up its data protection team.
He has a wealth of experience assisting businesses from all sectors with compliance issues including regulatory investigation.
In 2018 James appeared before the House of Commons' Brexit Select Committee to advise on the data protection implications of Brexit.
